Malaysia National Tournament Rules & Regulations

  1. Open & Register a New myRosso Account

Participant must create a NEW myRosso account with "BR" in front of the Login Name especially for Battle Royale Tournament purposes. e.g. “BRangelgirl” for new registration. Failure to do so, your registration will be disqualified.

  1. How to Participate

Compulsory to submit the Online Registration Form to entitled for tournament participation. Participants are allowed to register once per event based on their Personal Identification Number and their Login ID used on myRosso portal. Only the owner of the account can register. Name and ID are required to be filled up; the registration will be rejected if the data input do not match with participant identity. All shortlisted participants are required to play RAN Online (English Version) at the Official Cyber Café (Idol Cyber Cafe, Butterworth Penang & BlitZone, PJ Kuala Lumpur) during the tournament period as appointed.

  1. Participants are required to report themselves punctually according to tournament schedule. Any late comers will be disqualified. Kindly refer Battle Royale Official Website for schedule detailed. http://ran.myrosso.com/br/c_important.asp.

  1. National Tournament participants are required to download myRosso: Battle Royale client http://ranenpatch.myrosso.com/en/BR_RAN.exe in order to start.

  1. 2 new characters can be created for every account.

  1. Tournament map consists of 3 campuses’ Main Center 1F, Practicing Yard, and Trading Hole. Only event related NPCs will be reserved and the locker service will be disabled during tournament time.

  1. The created characters will start at 120 lvl , with 360 Ability Points, 120 Skill Points, Gold Coins 200,000, 1 Spirit Bead, 1 Set x Campus Uniform, 1-2 Weapon. No level limitation for weapons and armors.

  1. Participants can exchange 1 of his/her weapons for Gold Coin. Please bear in mind that the system might not re-issue any weapon again, character will have to start the tournament with bare hand if all weapons belonged have been exchanged out.

  1. Spirit Bead can be exchanged for Burr Gift Box or Luxury Protection Potion through Spirit Bead Terminal. One Spirit Bead can only be exchanged once. The Spirit Bead Terminal is located beside Bus Terminal in Practicing Yard, near to the entrance of every campus.

  1. Participants may login 1 hour prior for warm up and preparation. Within the hour, participants can start allocate potions, skills, and character points for the tournament.

  1. Recovery Potion and Bus Card may be bought in the Campus or Practicing Yard. All the weapons may not be exchanged or traded.

  1. After get ready with character’s items and skills, all participants are required to assemble at Practicing Yard.

  1. Participants may utilize the Bus Terminal in Practicing Yard in order to move to event area “Trading Hole”. Trading Hole A,B,C,D are available for participants to select.

  2. Once The Tournament has started, Trading Hole will turn out to PK mode and Bus Terminal will disappear. Participant who failed to transfer to Trading Hole A,B,C,D in time will be disqualified.

  1. Once the character died, participants will revive at the starting point but unable to move back to the Trading Hole.

  1. During the 30 minutes of PK time, Zone B will turn out to DANGER ZONE, which scattered with invisible boss monsters every 10 minutes. Participants who stay inside will get attacked and easily kill off by these powerful monsters.

  1. At the end, Trading Hole (Zone D) will be the only safe zone remains. Participants who unable to reach there will eventually die.

  1. Event GM will standby at the middle of the Trading Hole after declared Area C as a Danger Zone whereby all survivors will gather in the Trading Hole (Zone D). The last standing survivor(s) will become the winner(s)!

  1. If happened without any sole winner after time’s up, participants will be penalized (penalty time) whereby the characters’ HP, MP, SP will automatically deducting until left the last survivor. (The longer of penalty time, the faster the rate of HP, MP, SP decreasing.)

  1. HP, MP, SP which has been deducted will not regenerate automatically unless recovery potion is taken.

  1. Shift + Left mouse function will be disabled (function) during the Tournament event.

  1. “Wooden Doll”, located in the Practicing Yard is a place for participants to practice and skills cooling down.

  1. Weapons sold in the RAN Official Super Store are not allowed to be use in “RAN Battle Royale” Server.

Promotion:

  1. The last 3 participants (Penang – 3 / PJ -3) who survive in Zone D will be qualified for the Final Global Tournament in Bangkok, Thailand.

  2. Promotion to finals list for Global Battle Royale 2007 will be notified on the event day itself. An alternate winner will be selected if the initial person selected as winner/ finalist is unable to represent Malaysia to participant the Global Battle Royale 2007 in Bangkok, Thailand for any reason. Winners and finalists will be announced on myRosso RAN Online Official website (http://ran.myrosso.com) and "RAN Battle Royale Malaysia 2007” (http://ran.myrosso.com/br/index.asp).

Notice:

  1. Participants must install the RAN Battle Royale client in order to participate in RAN Battle Royale Tournament.

  2. Participants must be punctual at the venue for the tournament as selected in Online Registration Form.

  3. Bots are prohibited; the right to join this Tournament would be cancelled once system detects it/them.

  4. The Organizer will not be held responsible for any losses occurred due to disconnection, unable to login or PC auto restart. Tournament will proceed as scheduled.

  5. If system problems occur during the Tournament, the game moderators would decide according to the situation through adding time or would just announce a new game time, no objection/ appeal will be accepted.

  6. The Organizer reserves the right to terminate/ change or/ or modify the event rules and regulations of any kind without prior notice or obligation.
