While most of us are just following other people's footsteps or shadows, Marc Ecko strives to innovate, continuing to prove critics wrong at every new turn by delivering what today's young consumer desire most ˇV products that are trend defining, thought provoking and engaging. While most of us are still as high school students, armed with only an airbrush and custom graphic designs, working from a makeshift design studio located in the garage of his parents' New Jersey home, Marc Ecko has built a loyal fan base and founded *ecko unltd at the age of 20 in 1993.

His company has now grown into 12 separate *ecko unltd. apparel and accessories lines, the contemporary Marc Ecko ˇ§Cut & Sewˇ¨ collection, G-Unit Clothing Company, Zoo York, Avirex Sportswear, Complex Magazine (with circulation of 330,000) and his recent launched video game, ˇ§Getting Up: Contents Under Pressureˇ¨. Sweat Equity Enterprises, a four-year-after school, design and mentoring for underserved New York City teens, is his most recent and most personal initiative to date.
